ARGH...busy, busy, busy!!!

I know, I know...it's been three weeks and I haven't posted anything!!! Sorry!!! It's been a busy three weeks. On the 8th I went to my company Christmas party in Gruene. Then it was a busy two weeks of shopping and work. I did enjoy going to church for the Advent services and then the Cantata they had the Sunday before Christmas, that made me miss being in the choir, but unfortunately I missed the Christmas Eve service...
We had a great time with our "progressive Christmas Eve dinner" despite injuries ;) I actually got everything cooked and it must have tasted good because I didn't have much left. We all got together again on Christmas Day and exchanged our gifts and ate and played cards all day. It was good fun and thanks to everyone I will soon be getting an Ipod!!! Yay!!! I am also now wireless...my gift to myself with the bonus I wasn't expecting to get, but appreciate very much!! So...I don't really have any pics to add this time, but I will get to taking some. With my birthday on Monday, I am sure there will be some to add. We are all heading down to San Antonio for th night and it is sure to be fun!! Well...I need to get off of here. Until next time...

Catching Up...

Well, Sara and I have been in our apartment now for 4 months. We have a kitten...that is rotten and very cute...Jade. She is about 5 months old now and growing like a weed...and enjoys destroying random bits of paper she finds.

We had some fun on Halloween...mostly just the dressing up part, the haunted house we went to was pretty darn pathetic, but if it was supposed to be a make-fun-of-this-and-laugh-all-the-way-thru house...well, then, they succeeded. Either way, we had fun getting into some goofy costumes and going out to see other people's goofy costumes.

I also went to a Clay Walker concert with my granny and my aunt in November...that was a lot of fun...if not also very hot and crowded. It was a pretty up close and personal concert and I loved it!!! I only wish I could afford to go to more concerts...they are so much fun.

Thanksgiving was great this year...all the family got together and had a fun time eating too much, watching the parade and football games, playing cards and aggravation...It was a long busy day, but at least we didn't have to work!! Did have to work the next day, but I can live with that...now I am just excited about Christmas coming up. We have the apartment all decorated and pretty...after two weeks and three uncooperative strands of lights, I even managed to get some lights up on our balcony and they look awesome. Of course Jade is having fun trying to take the ornaments off the tree...she has hidden a couple and I can't find her hiding place. After Christmas it's my birthday and we are heading down to San Antonio for some fun this year. In the meantime, I work just about every day...I will try to keep things updated.
